Time Capsule Letter to Your Future Self Creative Writing Assignment
Worksheet Print out and hand to your students. They'll love it! I give it to my 7th graders. The sheet goes through all topics for them to write about. Students are given one to two periods of class time and a weekend to complete it or make it as long as they'd like. They seal it up and put their graduation year on the front with their name.

Confucius: Famous Quotes Activity
Students are given a worksheet with many famous quotes from Confucius. They then have to try and figure out what he is trying to say. Don't worry there is a teacher key that will help you explain the quotes to your students. Quotes like "He who learns but does not think, is lost.
