Tis the season for holiday STEM! Here is a SmartBoard activity that I made for a 2nd grade class. This Smart has directions, materials, charts and timers for the activity. Students are to build the tallest Christmas tree that they can in 15 minutes. At the beginning, I have the jobs broken down. Building Solid Figures: Developing Volume Concepts with Cubes
