This is a project I have had my Environmental Science (remedial) students in high school do for several years. They research a dog breed and then compare its features to that of another member in the order Carnivora. It takes two 50-minute class periods to research, complete, and present.
This would also be good for middle school or upper elementary when studying evolution. It may take longer for younger students.

Work Habits Checklist for Robotics/STEM
This behavior/participation checklist was developed as a tool for keeping track of student participation in a Robotics class. It is based on a point system.
