This stem activity has students build a "sleigh" for Santa using limited resources: an index card + construction paper, a straw, four white life-saver mints, and tape. They must design and build the "sleigh" that will travel the furthest down a ramp. because I mean, Santa has to go to A LOT of houses in one night!
