"I Get It" Exit Ticket

Created by

This simple exit ticket enable students to quickly identify whether or not they "got" the day's lesson, "sort of got it", or if they still need help. Teachers can easily flip through the exit tickets and analyze formative assessment data without having to read through piles of paperwork. Teachers can then modify the lesson for the next day based on the results, and address student misconceptions, if needed. This tool is easy to use and helpful as a formative assessment strategy.

Excel spreadsheet generates the percent and points based on the number of problems wrong OR based on the number of problems correct. Example: If a students has three problems wrong out of ten on an assignment that is worth 50 points, then the spreadsheet will display the percent (.70) and the points out of 50 (35 out of 50). The spreadsheet can generate a "limitless" number of combinations based on the number of total points and number of problems.

Assignment Tracker

This is what I use to keep track of my students' assignments. I write the assignment name on top and alphabetize their names in the numbered column. As I receive the assignments, I check off in the first column, and then record the grades in the last column. This makes it much easier when transferring grades into my grade book, since it's already alphabetized.
