This is a notebook for the students to write down their notes while they read Caddie Woodlawn, and write a persuasive essay on "Should railroads be built West?" At the end of each chapter, the students are able to write a summary that includes specific details. Then, there is a space for students to write notes on the story structure. Finally, there is a graphic organizer for the students to write a persuasive essay.
