This is a great introductory forensics lesson on Fingerprinting! This product contains a PowerPoint presentation on the types of fingerprints (loops, whorls, arches) with student guided notes that follow along with the PowerPoint. There are five questions at the end for students to practice identifying fingerprints on their own.

Fingerprint Sorting Interactive Whiteboard Activity
A SMART Board notebook that provides pictures of the various fingerprint types. Students begin the activity by identifying the elements in their fingerprints, and then the class sorts them by student name. You can use this with Activinspire as well.

This is a great activity when starting a fossil lesson or when reviewing. It covers mold fossils, cast fossils, trace fossils, and body fossils. The QR codes take you to different websites, videos, and presentations. At the end of the lesson students are asked to make a moonshot presentation. Check out Moonshot Thinking!
