This is a great video instructional tutorial to demonstrate the 3 basic skills in Adobe Flash. There is no audio associated with this video, so you could add your own creative touch by importing this tutorial into iMovie and creating your own audio instructions. Scratch - Jumping and Gravity
A Scratch tutorial that explains how to add acceleration and gravity to a jumping object in scratch. The character will jump a bit like "Super Mario" or other 2D platformers. In this example I used a ball instead of a character so I added a bit of a bounce when it hits the ground.
This is a great way of differentiating for students who are advancing in scratch and want a challenge.
There is a lot of physics in the tutorial and this could be modified as an integrated physics lesson also.
