Interactive Attendance Sheet- Winter
A new way of taking attendance which gets students actively involved. Instead of calling out names, every morning I display this Smartboard page, in which students names are placed on a tree. Students click their name and their name flies away and a calming song is played. The names that are left are the students who are not present.
I've used this with high school and elementary and students of all ages enjoy this new twist on an otherwise boring morning routine.

WINTER BINGO GAME FOR THE SMART BOARD
This is a BINGO game template of geometric shapes and math terms. Students identify and touch a figure to reveal a question. Students look for the matching answer on their BINGO grid. You will need to have students create their own BINGO grids by providing them with the possible BINGO answers or use the website: http://myfreebingocards.com/bingo-card-generator to create BINGO cards for students. Five answers in a row - vertically, horizontally, diagonally, or the four corners is a WINNER.

Adding Ending Punctuation
A sentence must end with punctuation. Not every sentence ends with a period. Using punctuations makes writing easier to read. With this activity, students will be focusing on understanding when to use a period, a question mark, and an exclamation point. Included is a slide to introduce the lesson’s objective. The what? The How and The Why? Use a short story with no punctuation. Work together and make it easier to read. Add the punctuation!! Fully editable!
