每一篇文章写作的背后，都在传达着设置者背后的目的，有可能是告知、宣导、娱乐、促进销售、政令宣导、关怀温馨提醒，有些试图引发读者某些情绪而达到作者背后的目的。
孩子在学习中文的过程中，可以在阅读的过程中经由自己的感觉去发掘作者用哪些文字引发读者什么样的情绪，藉由这些情绪与心情而去达到作者本身的目的。这里搜集了将近四十八篇的短文，有政令宣导文、公告文、动物知识、小孩日记寓言故事、笑话等等，除了试图让孩子去理解人可以透过文字去影响别人的情绪与想法、改变观念之外，也可以让孩子去分辨文字背后所达到的目的，有些是诈骗、有些事关心与爱、有些是笑料。使用方式：
让孩子藉由这些字卡学阅读各类的文章，并且思考自己读这篇文章后会有哪样的情绪，让孩子知道字可以在很多的地方传达别人的意思给另外一个人，也知道人的欲望可以藉由文字挑动，并思考写作者的背后目的。
