Beginning Writers: Draw, Label, and Write
This product is a transitionary writing tool to scaffold students from drawing to beginning to write. It can be used regularly as each picture drawn is up to the student, so once the student knows how to use it, it can be reused over and over again.
Teach students how to draw a picture (ex. frog), label it's parts (ex. head, tongue, eyes, back legs, etc.), and write a short sentence about it (ex. This is my silly frog named Pete).
