Speech Communication Nonverbal Experiment
This experiment can be done in a speech class to work on how humans use nonverbal language to communicate. Oftentimes we don't realize social norms are followed until they are broken. This is a fun assignment for students to do in or outside of school to analyze nonverbal language. Students will decide what social norm to break - maybe they sit very close to someone or use very loud speech in conversation. Then students will write about the experience using their knowledge from class and outside

The Attack on Pearl Harbor: The Most Relevant and Important Information
Present a thorough and mesmerizing account of the attack on Pearl Harbor with this overhead/handout. Included in this lesson are reasons for the attack, warning signs, information about the attack itself, stories of American heroes, Roosevelt's speech, and so much more. Most important, students will learn details that they've never known before. This product is a win-win in a classroom.
