Character Trait Dictionary
This character trait dictionary is used to help students develop vocabulary surrounding character traits.
I have used this with my students from 2nd-6th grade. We play a game where one student selects a character trait from the dictionary and acts it out. The rest of the students guess which trait he is depicting. Students then use sticky notes to mark places in their independent reading books where they see examples of characters exhibiting character traits from the dictionary.
