Love Poem Comparison and Analysis
This is an activity I use to introduce Romeo and Juliet. It includes a graphic organizer and instructions to annotate and respond to 3 classic love poems: "Sonnet 18" by Shakespeare, "Annabel Lee" by Edgar Allan Poe, and "i carry your heart" by e. e. cummings.
