One of the most important skills we can teach our students is how to critically evaluate available resources. This is an excellent tool for the evaluation of websites. It guides students through the process and allows them to think critically and decide for themselves if the source is reliable and will help them meet their needs.

I used this PowerPoint to teach high schoolers with Emotional and Learning Disorders about Frederick Douglass. I used guided notes by typing out the bullet points in a Word document and leaving out some words with ___________ instead.
