Thanksgiving Activity for High School - Comparing Historical Perspectives
This is a great last-minute activity for students to complete before Thanksgiving break! Students will read a resource from Pilgrim Hall that glorifies Thanksgiving and an article from Time Magazine that explains the perspective of the Wampanoag tribe. Students will find similarities and differences between each resource, read over discussion questions, find evidence from each resource to back their claims, and participate in a whole-class Socratic seminar.
