Rewording Test Questions for Understanding -ELA Test Prep for Standardized Tests
Students will be shown how to break-down ELA test type questions by putting them into more a simple question. This will help students more ably make their correct choice and gain a greater understanding of the question. Students will then apply this strategy on a non-fiction text, a fictional text and a poem (all while showing their reworded questions next to their originals, and then using this to aid them in answering the accompanying multiple choice).Check out all my other ELA products below!

Perspective & Point of View: ELA Test Prep, Reading Passages, Skills, Strategies
In this lesson students will be introduced to the ELA strategy of perspective. Students will be taught this through, as well as how perspective differs from point of view, through a teacher model and independent practice.
