This PowerPoint Presentation offers 8 weeks of fun facts to prompt further research and discussion at the start of class. This would work well during a research unit, to promote inquiry, investigation, analysis of sources, and further discussion of topics beyond what is first found. Each slide shows a fun fact (about animals, the human body, science, history, food, etc.), and the procedure is for students to read the fact and then to do further research, finding a new related fact and analyzing
