I created this lesson to coordinate with a unit on Author's Purpose. It can be used as a companion piece to Don Lessem's "The Iceman", a nonfiction primary research article included in the 2002 Bronze Level Prentice Hall Literature textbook OR it can be used on its own.
I have included a link to the free RadioLab podcast "An Ice-Cold Case" that discusses the Iceman mummy Otzi. The worksheet includes questions about the nonfiction podcast as well as an opportunity to write creatively.
