Elf in the Classroom Arrival Letter - No mention of Christmas or Santa!
I was on the hunt for a letter to have my Elf bring with him when he makes his debut in my classroom next week, but wanted one that didn't specifically mention Santa or Christmas. No luck so I wrote my own poem telling a little about the Elf and reminding the students to be on their best behavior this holiday season.
Attached is the letter in the .doc file so you can replace any of the text that you choose. The elf's name in the letter is Tinsel, but you can edit as you choose.

Holiday Music Bingo
This game can played just like regular bingo, except that instead of calling numbers, you will be playing songs or song clips. The music is a variety of Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Winter songs. The Nutcracker: A Craft-ivity
Students love the story of the Nutcracker. Included in this document is a re-telling of the story and a fun project! Students color and cut out a nutcracker doll, then glue him to an empty paper towel roll for a 3D nutcracker of their very own.
