These vocabulary cards are used in my ecosystem unit. The words include ecosystem, habitat, interdependence, camouflage, prey, predator, biotic factors, abiotic factors, herbivore, carnivore, omnivore, producer, consumer, decomposer, endangered, extinct, and mimicry. Each card contains a definition and a picture. Snowflake graphing with four styles of snow flakes and three sizes graphs for each. Document made in Microsoft Publisher. Graphs can be sized to own needs/preferences. Each snowflake has an "answer" provided as well. This is a worksheet that works well with weather.com because it is similar to the format on that website. It has sections for weather "right now", "today" and "tonight" along with "tomorrow's weather" and a section that asks what you should wear tomorrow. This is great for elementary as well as middle and high school special education. I use it for my students with moderate/severe autism. The visuals are great!

December/Christmas/Winter Journal Writing Prompt Booklet
This is a 7 page booklet that features two journal entries on each page. The first is a title page, so there are 12 writing prompts. Each page has several lines for a student response, as well as a box to draw a picture of the journal entries.
These half sheets are to be cut out and given to students one at a time. At the end of the month, just before break, I like to punch holes and bind the journals for students to keep as a momento.

This unit was created using the Georgia Standards. There are also many reading comprehension sheets that can be assessed as a reading and social studies grade. The Unit includes a study guide that I printed out and put into folders to use as a resource throughout the study. This is also used for the research conducted during the unit study. There is enough and more than enough to teach all standards needed and to extend the knowledge of any child.

A companion workbook to the book On The Same Day in March by Marilyn Singer. Read the book and have students research what the weather is like in different places around the world. Students love getting presents from their teachers, but it can get expensive. These coupons were created to give the kiddos an extra night for homework or a free night.
