I used this template to create Writing Offices for my third grade students. The students have these offices available when they are writing and can refer to the information listed there! December/Christmas/Winter Journal Writing Prompt Booklet
This is a 7 page booklet that features two journal entries on each page. The first is a title page, so there are 12 writing prompts. Each page has several lines for a student response, as well as a box to draw a picture of the journal entries.
These half sheets are to be cut out and given to students one at a time. At the end of the month, just before break, I like to punch holes and bind the journals for students to keep as a momento.

This weekly menu is used for each week's spelling words. After the students are finished with their morning work or class work, they work on a section of the weekly menu.
