Fluency Strategy Cards with Animal Friends
You will find 7 mini cards (a half sheet of paper in landscape) with each reading strategy. Each strategy is named with an animal friend to make the it easier to remember and more fun for students! Below each strategy is a description of what the student(s) should do in order to use that strategy and become a better reader. I have found it to be very successful in my room. I use beanie babies or other small stuffed animals to further enhance the strategy.
