This is a printable page meant to hang on the wall or be added into a student's journal or interactive notebook. These are the steps for annotating that I have found to be helpful with my students, especially when they have never attempted to annotate before. I usually pair this with a mini-lesson and an "I do, we do, you do" on a short story or article to demonstrate the steps.
