Grapes of Wrath/Great Depression Webquest
To use after completing The Grapes of Wrath. Students act as journalists and "go back in time" to report on the Great Depression to current students. This webquest is broken into steps, so can be used over a period of a few weeks. Students will make a timeline, "interview survivors" (via youtube clips), and "take pictures" (by choosing from a few links provided), and then compile the information into a feature news article to present to the class
