This guide with activity sheets is a motivational tool to get students to write in the form of rapping. By tying music and ELA, would motivate students to write to create their own lyrics to later add to a digital audio workstation program so that they can perform their song to their classmates. Students learn English easily through songs! I created this booklet of 24 songs (lyrics) I like to use with my ESL students from grade 1 to 6. I added visual support to help students understand the meaning of the songs.I found most of these songs on Dollar Tree CDs I came across in Ontario and was able to find Youtube videos for many songs (not all).
