This song can be the starting point for a debate. It’s about the role of mother/carer. The setting is in a flying saucer. An alien looks down on the multi-tasking feats of a young mother and ponders. It’s also a starter for an art piece “What would the alien look like”? Musicians have an opportunity to play the riff which is for more advanced pupils and percussion for those just starting out. My daughter loves singing the Finger Family song. I wanted to start a series of Bible versions to get her singing about people of character. This is the first set of Finger Families to come: Women of God Set 1. Cut along the lines to separate the finger puppets, fold the top flaps down, tape or glue the sides down, and start singing these Bible characters into the song! Teach your kids about the featured women by downloading the corresponding character sheets.
