This song is a parody of the Oscar winning 8-Mile song by Eminem called Lose yourself. It introduces Gavrilo Princip at the sandwich shop right before the assassination of Franz Ferdinand. This includes lyrics to "Criminal" by Ozuna, a comprehension activity with the lyrics and a cloze passage quiz. In the lyric activity: students only use the lyrics (no dictionaries) to find vocabulary words using context clues, find different examples of verb tenses, translate phrases using context, find the main idea of the song and finish with a cultural comparison. I usually use this activity when I am teaching family vocabulary, and after I have taught clothing.
