Students can learn about the Industrial Revolution from the perspective of their own town. They will map out a town starting in 1745 and see how it changes and grows up to 1850. Students will have to deal with the challenges of urban planning such as changing industries, needs to improve transportation, and rising populations. Lesson includes slides to present to students for them to follow along as they draw and build their city and a teacher script with the story of the town to guide students
