Instruments of the Orchestra Research/eBook Project
Notetaking outline for Orchestral Instrument Research Project. This is a middle school level world music project. The students create a slideshow presentation with the information listed on the document. All requirements for the project are listed on the attached document. In my experience, it takes five 40 minute class periods to complete. Wiki Racing: Brain Break Game
Are your students in need of a brain break or game-based warm up? Try introducing "Wiki Racing." Students will "race" each other from a starting Wikipedia page to an ending Wikipedia page. Wax Museum Information Letter
Wax Museum information letter that can be sent home. 2nd grade at my school does a wax museum every year. Each child gets to pick someone to dress up as and complete some research on. On the day of the wax museum, students will have completed research, created a 3-5 sentence speech, a timeline of 5 events and have brought a costume from home to wear. They will give their speeches at their desks in front of parents and other students.
