Students in my classroom each have a personal word book in their desks to assist them in spelling common words that they may need to spell. This is a valuable tool, along with the word wall, classroom picture dictionaries, success criteria and anchor charts, to free me up so that I can work with students individually. Simply copy onto legal paper back to front and use a long arm stapler.
