Penguin Facts
Whenever I introduce a lesson, I try to have loads of pictures and information. I felt the my students took well to this Penguin lesson so I thought I'd post it. Since I didn't take the photographs I'm not charging. I did a lesson with my Kinder art classes on drawing habitats and will use the same document to intro a sculpture lesson with my first grades. My Flower Journal
This is a Flower Journal. This was created for students who will be growing plants in the classroom or at home. Students are asked to take observations, measure the stems, and draw pictures of the plant on a continuous basis. This works great as a whole class activity! Personally, I began this with my class on Earth Day (we planted seeds) and recorded the growth until the end of the school year. On the last day of school, the students took their plants home for the summer!
