The Nutcracker: A Craft-ivity
Students love the story of the Nutcracker. Included in this document is a re-telling of the story and a fun project! Students color and cut out a nutcracker doll, then glue him to an empty paper towel roll for a 3D nutcracker of their very own. Easy substitute art plan - design your own product
This is a very easy and engaging sub lesson plan. Students can choose between customizing a basketball, guitar or a large travel cup. I like that all I had to do to prepare for a substitute was print the sheets. The students really loved that they had three choices and enjoyed creating their own designs. My sub was not familiar with teaching art so she enjoyed the simplicity of the lesson.
