Cereal Box and Puppet Book Report
*FREEBIE...Book reports don't have to be boring. This hands-on project will submerse your students into their book. Constructing a physical prop which coincides with their story will boost there creativity. This is a fun way to allow students to write a book report using a cereal box as their template, create a puppet representing an important character in their chosen book (I prefer picture books), and then present their creations to the class.

Book Bingo-EDITABLE
This is a fun way for students to complete reading homework (or early finisher activity). It requires the students to read a book or chapter each night and complete an activity in one of the boxes for a total of 30 minutes (you can adjust the time). Every week a different student in the class is chosen as the secret reader of the week. The secret reader has a mission to practice the book in the folder and then at the end of the week they read their book aloud to the class. Just laminate this instruction sheet on the front of a large manilla folder and you will be ready to start using secret reader in your own classroom!
Elementary Test Prep Vocabulary Bookmarks
In this lesson students create bookmarks using technology and the most commonly misunderstood or missed vocabulary prevalent in today's testing environment.
