Parody Unit, Part One. Video and Parody Article activity in Google Docs

First watch a video of a news article with the class (link provided), then read an article that parodies that news article with a class. The article, the link, and comprehension questions are all together in one Google Doc, so you may want to make a copy and cut off the answers, so you only share with your students the article and the questions. This is how I first introduce my 8th grade students to parody and begin my parody unit. I hope it serves you well!
