Composting in a pop bottle! After talking about the Scientific Method and how Scientists set up their experiments and publish their results, the students were given the task of creating their own unique Compost Kid. It is their job to create their kid, keep their kid fed and alive for 70 days. Each Compost Kid is different, just like we are! Lessons to go along with this can include recycling, soil composition, microbiology and agriculture.
