Recycling Inquiry: Why is it important to recyle? Powerpoint slides share what happens to our trash and how long it takes for paper, plastic, tin to decompose. Students were asked to bring in paper and plastic recylables. They made a prediction of what our class uses more of (paper or plastic). Then we sorted and recorded our data on the data sheet provided. We tied this in with SS being good citizens and taking care of our community.
