A fun Thanksgiving themed STEM challenge with a focus on math! Check out this fun design challenge. Learners will create a hideout for their turkey so that it doesn't get eaten for Thanksgiving! They will use base-ten blocks to build their shelter. When they are done, count up the base-ten blocks to see what number their hideout represents! Learners can then fill in a place value mat! The Google Slideshow will walk you and your learners through the activity, including a read aloud about hiding
