In this assignment students will choose a simple manufactured object, research how it was produced, then develop a presentation which shows the manufacturing process(es) used to create it. The lesson includes student instructions and rubric and a 38-slide Google Slides presentation covering the most common production process (i.e. repetitive, discrete, job shop, batch, continuous) and manufacturing processes (i.e. machining, joining & assembly, forming, casting & molding, and additive).
