Wonderful document for recording family facts and memories. This is a culture assignment that will be treasured for who knows how long. I hand out as extra credit, but I strongly encourage their use... where else will this information ever be captured? Students just ask questions of parents and grandparents. Even better, have them video the conversation.

International Cuisine Research Project for FCS Foods, Nutrition and Culinary
This student centered, self-guided, project has students to choose from a variety of project elements to compile a creative research project on an international cuisine of their choice. Allows for differentiation and creativity! I have used this with great success as part of a 2 week international foods unit, by following it up with demo/cooking labs!
