I have had many groups of children perform this and it is always a big hit with parents, kids, and teachers. Feel free to change a few words to fit your own rhythm, but please don’t change the meaning.

I use this as a group activity, a group of 4-5 students seem to work nicely for this activity. I have included a link to the speech, and I usually label each section--or you can ask students to do that as they work. I show the actual speech, there are many youtube versions. It includes a reflective essay at the end.
