TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Over 20 years in teaching.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use a student centered approach to learning and developing literacy skills. Students work in small groups or pairs to develop a deeper understanding of text. I use project based learning, student agency, and the science of (reading) literacy instruction to develop solid skills in my students. I have provided many of my most successful lessons, packets, and strategies through my TPT page.
