A creative piece of art work that requires students to design their own repetitive patterns in the grids around the circle. There are 3 circles around the image in the centre. World Cup Algebra Math Mascot Challenge
A great resource to get the children thinking! This allows them to share their perspective on World Cup mascots before solving some challenging mascot maths using algebraic thinking. Banneker's Ticktock Clock - Math in Black History Month
Students watch a short video about Benjamin Banneker's life and accomplishments, then collaborate to produce a PowerPoint slideshow. They'll solve equations using substitution to decode their own Tick-tock Clock, after watching a read-aloud of the book.
