This was originally an English class lesson but it could easily be used for both social studies (a response to social norms and bullying) and for science (a response to how weather affects the human psyche). I have had this available on my webpage: laurieannlewis.wordpress.com and many people have left positive comments after using this in their classrooms. Each time I have used this lesson (in all the subjects I mentioned) the students have reacted positively in the classroom.
