Hurricane Booklet
Do your students need more information about hurricanes? My district has been closed for a week, and I wanted my students to understand the reasons behind the closing. I created this booklet in Microsoft Word to do this. It is four pages with two half pages of information on each.

There are so many things you can do with these but my favorite is to print on cardstock or glue to construction paper and laminate. Then add these to a center with Hot Wheels or other small toy cars (I use them in my block center). Students will "trace" the letters/numbers by driving the cars on the letters.
