TEACHING EXPERIENCE

New York City Public High School teacher 9+ years working with students from diverse backgrounds at a variety of reading levels from 2nd grade (far-below grade level) through 10th (on grade level). I try with each of my lessons to have multiple entry points so that students of all levels can learn, progress, and ultimately produce.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Structured yet friendly. All of my lessons are well-structured in order that the students become quickly accustomed to a routine and know what to expect. The lessons flow much smoother with such structure.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Chip Cronkite, son of the late Walter Cronkite, and head of Cronkite Productions did a 60 minutes piece on my classroom and teaching style.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Masters Degree in Secondary Ed and English. Classes had a specialized focus in NY public school teaching methodologies.
