15 years teaching experience: World History, US History, Psychology, Economics, Personal Finance, and Government.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My goal is to be clear with instruction and objectives. I try to teach as a "salesmen of information" -- they will only be interested if I seem interested. The best learning happens when the students are doing things that are rigorous, relevant, and don't even realize they are learning. *I try to teach each class as if my sons or I were in the class.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Bachelors in Broadfield Social Studies Masters in Curriculum and instruction. Many additional credits that focus on technology, assessment strategies, and differentiation.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Enjoy: spending time with my wife and four sons, hiking and trail running, any water sport on the water, carpentry and home remodeling, volleyball, and anything else that offers peace and/or adrenaline rushes.
