As off the 2022-2023 school year, I will have taught middle school for 13 years. I currently teach 6th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies. I have also served as a MCAS Tutor, Student Council Advisor, and mentored many first year teachers. I have my Masters degree in Education and my professional teaching license in History 5-8, ELA 5-8, and Humanities 5-8. I also have a certification in SEI. I have taught both remotely, in person, and hybrid.
The most important adjective I would use to describe my teaching style is flexible. I try my hardest to teach the way my students learn. I try to adapt my lessons and activities to the needs of my class. I try to create lessons that spark my students' interests and imaginations. I want them to have fun while learning!
