TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 18+ years in various English/Language Arts disciplines including core level ELA Classes, ELD/LTEL, AP Seminar, AP Research, AP English Language and Composition, and creative ELA disciplines such as High School Film studies and Creative Writing.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I tend to have a hybrid style of teaching. I can be a demonstrator, a facilitator or a lecturer dependent on the need. I meet students at their level and try to elevate them to where they need to be.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a background in English Literature and Biology, two subjects that seem totally different but somehow meet in my mind. I have been teaching and learning in various capacities for 18+ years.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

One cat, two kids, a loving spouse, and several fish all going round the sun!
