I followed my lifelong dream of becoming a teacher in 1978 and have taught Pre-K through 5th grades. I've gotten to start a new kindergarten beginning with an empty room on Daniel Island, I've taught emerging teachers at Hood College while modeling teaching practices at the pre-K lab school there, I taught for 18 years at a Professional Development School of the Arts focusing on learning styles and am presently teaching 2nd grade in a personalized learning school.
My teaching style is a combination of the best practices I have learned throughout my teaching career. Students in my Personal Mastery classroom have voice and choice in their learning activities. While working in their own learning style I encourage them to stretch into other learning styles. The arts are just naturally incorporated into many activities.
